FRIDAY 25 MAY
Buses depart Canberra Airport for QT Canberra: 8:15am, 8:45am, 9:15am and 9:45am

SUNDAY 27 MAY
Buses depart QT Canberra for Canberra Airport: 11:40am, 12:20pm, 1:15pm, 1:45pm, 2:20pm and 3:40pm 

Appointed Delegates Note: If your flight times or dates are outside these times, you will need to make your own way to and from the airport and AMA will reimburse you for travel costs. Please note that all receipts must be submitted together with the 'Claim for Reimbursement Form' before 30 June 2018.  Reimbursement forms will be available at the Conference Registration Desk. If you do not wish to take this transport option and would like to make your own way to the airport during the time of scheduled shuttle buses,  this will not be reimbursed by the AMA. 


Delegates are ask to sit in their relevant State and Practice Group (Doctors in Training, GP, Private Specialist, Rural, Public Hospital).

A bus transfer will depart the National Portrait Gallery for QT Canberra at 10:30pm. 

Gala Dinner
Return bus transfers departing QT for the Gala Dinner at National Museum have been arranged for delegates.

Depart QT Canberra for National Museum: 6:45pm, 7:00pm and 7:10pm

Depart National Museum for QT Canberra: 10:30pm, 10:45pm, 11:00pm

Any delegates staying at Ovolo Nishi should request a drop off directly to the bus driver.

Registration fees do not include insurance coverage of any kind. Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Conference organisers cannot accept responsibility for any delegate failing to cover their own insurance.

Delegates arriving on Friday morning may store their luggage with the Concierge in the appropriate luggage storage area. Delegates will have a chance to collect their luggage and proceed to their rooms during Conference break times.


Your name badge will be your official pass to conference sessions and must be worn at all times. Your name badge will be available for collection at the Registration Desk.


The registration and information desk will be located outside the for collection of name badges and conference materials. Staff will be on hand to answer any queries and provide information.
