Dr Roderick McRae

Dr Roderick McRae is a Fellow of AMA, and has dual medical Fellowships in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.  He has been Chairman of Federal Council for seven years when it was the Board of AMA, and is a past Chairman of AMA Victoria’s Council. He is a past Federal Councillor for Doctors-in-Training and current Federal Councillor for Salaried Doctors, chairing the Public Hospital Doctors Committee. He is currently Vice President of AMA Victoria and Chairman of its Industrial Relations Sub Committee, President of the Australian Salaried Medical Officer’s Federation of Victoria, and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer of the Australian Salaried Medical Officer’s Federation. He is also a qualified Bioethicist and a practicing lawyer experienced in end-of-matters and financial and administrative law, and a Member of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal, and is a Presiding Member at Medical Panels Victoria.
